Angel Pagan is the best alternative to Reyes at the top of the batting order and its good to have him back. Our sincerest condolences go out to Reyes and his family on the loss of his grandmother.

In the eighth inning you let your pitcher who had a shut-out an opportunity to become the losing pitcher. Then the tying run scores. Then with second and third he walks a batter and you still leave him in there- What are you thinking?

Logically speaking, if your starter has a 1 run lead with 2 outs in the 8th, and you replace him with anyone other than your closer, you don't have a closer.
